Sonic Innovations, Siemens and Rexton All Make Hearing Aids for Those Who Need Help In the Hearing World

SiemensSonic Innovations is a hearing aid manufacturer that is helping introduce the latest technology to those hearing-impaired persons so that they too can enjoy the benefits of cell phone usage.

Sonic Innovations has introduced their new SonicBLU – a wireless communications device that will allow users of the Sonic Innovations Velocity hearing aids to wirelessly connect to Bluetooth enabled cell phones. Similar to other hearing aids with Bluetooth compatibility, the SonicBLU device has a talk time of four hours and a standby time of up to 70 hours.  It uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and has an operating range of up to 10 meters.

Siemens hearing aid company has created a hearing aid that is virtually invisible and designed to eliminate that ‘plugged-up’ feeling some hearing-impaired people experience while wearing their hearing aids.  Acuris Life is a behind-the-ear hearing aid instrument which uses a newly developed tip and tubing that incorporates the recently introduced ear-to-ear wireless technology.  This new wireless technology enables the right and the left instruments to communicate with one another and function as one hearing unit.

The new Siemens Acuris Life automatically adjusts itself to the wearer’s listening environment but synchronized controls allows wearers to adjust the volume or program for both ears with a single adjustment of a button. This neRexw hearing device blends with the wearer’s hair and skin tone colors.

Rexton hearing aid company also produces different levels of hearing aid devices, the entry-level, mid-level and a high level all with varying degrees of technology built-in to help those hearing-impaired persons hear what is going on around them at an optimal level.

Rexton hearing aids offer digital and conventional analog hearing aids; however they do not offer the programmable analog hearing aids which are available through other companies.

Digital hearing aids are the most technologically advanced instruments on the market today and are great for individuals with active lifestyles. Programmable analog circuits contain analog circuitry and provide more versatility and advanced programming features than the conventional analog circuitry.  The parameters are adjusted through a computer by a hearing professional and the results are smoother, more comfortable sounds than non-programmable circuits.
