Florida State Graham Gano to Kick Off a New Season in the NFL
Florida State University’s Graham Gano has become the first player in the school’s history to accomplish what no other player has done before. Graham Gano has been named the top punter in the ACC by the Sporting News, in addition to being named All-Florida first team by the Miami Herald.
According to Pro Football News, Graham Gano is one of the nation’s most accurate field-goal kickers. This is the nation’s top honor for any place kicker and the third time a Florida State University player has won the honor. Graham Gano, a senior from FSU, leads the nation in field goals and is the highest scoring kicker in all of the FBS. No other kicker in America converted more 50 yard attempts then Graham Gano, additionally he converted 24 of 26 field-goal attempts overall and at 52 and 50 yards were his only two misses.
Along with all the Super Bowl hype, Graham Gano won the long distance competition by kicking a field goal of 54 yards to win the event over the fierce competition. During the warm ups, Gano was routinely kicking field goals at 60 plus yards. As stated earlier, Gano is the main place kicker, punter and field-goal kicker for Florida State University. Nearly all college football sports websites contain photographs of Gano doing what he does best and that is kicking.
Graham Gano is said to have the most powerful legs in college football connecting five of seven kicks from 50 plus yards and 10 of 12 from 40 plus yards. The NFL franchises will be lining up to sign this powerful All-American kicker.
Today’s news is that Graham Gano is practicing for the NFL Combine by training at the IMG Performance Institute in Bradenton, Florida.
